Tourism is one of the most important aspects of Sino-Greek cooperation. In that regard, three Chinese journalists will visit Greece from 23 June to 1 July 2016 in order to prepare a 23-page feature on Athens and other Greek destinations for Air China’s August edition of inflight magazine ‘Wings of China’. The Greek National Tourism Organisation (EOT) has organized a press trip to Nafplio, Epidaurus, Zakynthos, Santorini, Rhodes, Delphi, Kalambaka and Meteora for the needs of the feature.
The monthly magazine ‘Wings of China’ focuses on tourism and cultural issues and is distributed to all domestic and international flights of Air China. Each issue is printed in 360,000 copies and is bilingual, in Chinese and English. In May 2016, the Greek National Tourism Organisation also organised a trip to Mykonos, Paros, Milos, Zakynthos and Ancient Olympia for Chinese tour operators, bloggers and travel reporters.
