The forum is co-sponsored by the Party School of the CPC Central Committee and the Aspen Strategy Group.

The first policy dialogue was held in Washington in June, 2013.  The current dialogue is aimed to provide policy consultation for both countries’ decision makers on building a new type of major power relationship between China and the United States.
