CRI and to proceed together

Sun Jingli and George Tzogopoulos

China Radio International did recently organise a competition inviting non-Chinese analysts to write articles about China’s international relations. Founder of Dr George Tzogopoulos represented Greece and won this competition. He was in the group of ten international experts which were invited to China and were awarded for their knowledge on China’s affairs. The award ceremony took place in Beijing on 17 November 2015 in the headquarters of China Radio International.

In parallel with receiving his award, Tzogopoulos had the opportunity to meet the team of journalists working for the Greek Service of China Radio International. On that occasion he granted an interview on Sino-Greek relations and the European perception of China’s foreign policy and economy. Moreover, he had special meetings with Vice-President of CRI Xia Jixuan and Deputy Director of Center for West European and Latin American Region Sun Jingli.

The excellent status of cooperation between (part of  Single Member Private Company ‘Sino-Hellenic) and CRI was outlined during the visit of George Tzogopoulos in Beijing. This institutional partnership has been established since the beginning of 2015 including the mutual exchange of logos and the facilitation of the reproduction of articles in China and of CRI articles in Greece and Europe. Both parties are currently holding discussions to further deepen this partnership in the next years by assuming new initiatives.
