Greek media report that the only company which has submitted an offer to buy a 67 percent stake of Piraeus Port Authority is COSCO. In particular, To Vima asserts that APM Terminals and ICTS did not participate in the bid. For its part, Kathimerini presents COSCO as the only company which managed to meet the deadline. The official press release of Greece’s Asset Development Find is rather vague though. As it states: ‘ The procedure for the submission of binding offers for the Piraeus Port Authority SA was completed.Further announcements will be made on January 12, 2016 after the opening of the financial offers.’
