Giving an interview ahead of the Greek snap election of 20 September 2015 former vice-President Ioannis Dragasakis said that his government failed to find a loan in non-EU countries before accepting the third bailout on 12 July 2015. Mr Dragasakis mentioned, inter alia, the case of China which he – along with former Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias – visited in March 2015. But such a scenario only was wishful thinking.
