George Tzogopoulos
Giving an interview in Austrian leading newspaper Der Standard Dr George Tzogopoulos explores the public image of Greece after the national election of 26 January 2015. As he says, only Russian media tend to cover the policy of the Greek government in a relative positive way. Even American ones, which had been sympathetic towards the new government in the immediate aftermath of the elections, are now strongly criticising it for the potential release of terrorist Savvas Xiros. As far as media in China are concerned they reflect a frustration because of the Greek government’s delay in the policy of privatizations including the one of the Piraeus Port Authority
