Xi Jinping refers to the role of BRICS hours ahead of the G20 Summit

Hours ahead of the G20 Summit in Brisbane President of China Xi Jinping referred to the role of BRICS in the world. As he said, Brazil, China, India Russia, South Africa should actively participate in international multilateral cooperation and raise their voice in global economic governance. In his view, the BRICS countries should be driven by the two ‘wheels’ of economy and politics so that they will be able to act as not only the world’s economic engine but also a shield for world peace.
