Xinhua reports on NATO role in the Aegean

In an article published on 25 February 2016, Xinhua  focuses on the new role of NATO in the Aegean. According to the Chinese news agency ships of NATO ‘will be providing information to the coastguards and other national authorities of Greece and Turkey. This will help them carry out their duties even more effectively to deal with the illegal trafficking networks’. The Alliance will also establish direct links with Frontex, as Xinhua reports
