Following the signing of the agreement which marks the beginning of a five year co-operation between Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation and Tsinghua University, representatives of both institutions had a meeting with Greece’s President Prokopis Pavlopoulos. The purpose of the meeting was to present the new co-operation scheme as well as the establishemnt of ‘Marilena Laskaridis Chair for Greek Classical and Modern studies‘ at Tsinghua University. Professor Shi Zhiqin, Professor Zhang Lihua, Professor Wang Xiaochao as well as President of Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation Panos Laskaridis and vice-President Katerina Laskaridis were received by the Greek President.
