Second Sino-Greek Maritime Cooperation Forum organised in Beijing

The second ‘Greece-China Maritime Cooperation Forum’ to fuel growth was organised in Beijing on 4 July 2016. Prime Ministers Alexis Tsipras and Li Keqiang addressed this Forum. Premier Tsipras said that Greece welcomes investments from China and praised the contribution of China to the world economy. From his part, Premier Li said that China and Greece, being countries with ancient civilizations, have made their unique and significant contributions to the development of world civilization. The Maritime Cooperation Forum aims at making joint efforts to promote peaceful, cooperative and harmonious development on the sea, build a cornerstone for maritime peace, share maritime economic results, and promote exchanges of maritime civilisation.

Approximately 400 businessmen attended the event.
