St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
The opening of the New Development Bank of BRICS was an issue discussed in one of the sessions of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. In particular, it was confirmed that this Bank will open on 1 January 2016 and that all UN countries can apply in order to join. The Indian banker K.V. Kamath, who will be the first Governor of the BRICS New Development Bank, was the main speaker.
