Survey on the image of Chinese products abroad

055-Design-for-Chinese-Consumers-1024x973In order to analyze what foreign consumers think of Chinese companies, China International Publishing Group (CIPG) and Millward Brown have carried out research on the illustration of Chinese companies in the Asian-Pacific region. The research demonstrates that most foreign consumers have bought and used products made by Chinese companies. As China Youth Online reports, foreigners do recognize the contribution of Chinese enterprises to their own local economic development. Overall, 54% interviewees think Chinese enterprises have made a positive contribution, and 20% think highly of that contribution. As far as the potential improvement of Chinese enterprises overseas is concerned, most interviewees focus on existing problems such as the lack of understanding of local cultures, histories and consumers, the reluctance to take on local people as employees and little participation in community welfare activities.
