Xinhua sees possibility for Sino-Greek co-operation against corruption

xinhuaIn an article published on 28 April 2015, Xinhua News Agency asserts that Sino-Greek co-operation against corruption can benefit both countries. According to the article, Athens and Beijing share the same objective of effectively combating corruption. Although Greece and China have signed no extradition treaty, ‘the exchange of information, assistance and cooperation between states in providing data and freezing bank accounts [can be] the most important tools in the detection of the path of money laundering and the recovery of misused funds’.
