From 7 until 10 May 2015 the city of Thessaloniki hosted the 12th International Book Fair. China was one of the foreign countries which participated. On this occasion, the Chinese culture was highly popular among visitors. Xinhua news agency interviewed coordinator of the Thessaloniki Book Fair at the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, Nopi Chatzigeorgiou, who said: ‘In the last years, China has a strong presence in the fair. During the four-day event, the Chinese delegation met with Greek publishers in order to exchange ideas and cooperate in the field of book translations and arts’.
