In an interview Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias gave to the Italian edition of Huffington Post, he defended the right of Greece to increase ties with China and Russia. As he explained, it is not fair for the Greek government to be criticised for this strategy while other European countries such as Italy and Germany also attempt to co-operate with Beijing and Moscow. In the view of Mr Kotzias this policy should not be only the privilige of specific big states but also of smaller ones. Greece, the Foreign Minister asserts, enjoys a good friendship with China and Russia.
