Bruce Barnard, special correspondent of Journal of Commerce expects that China will step up pressure on the Greek government regarding the privatization of the port of Piraeus. In parallel with this he writes that the new Greek government will possibly give assurances to Beijing that it will proceed with the sale of the state’s stake in the port of Piraeus.
